Wilfred Ndidi and Ademola Lookman, a freshly recruited Nigerian player, led Leicester City to a 4-1 victory over Randers on Thursday night.
The Super Eagles playmaker got his second goal of the season in an important win for Brendan Rodgers’ team at home.
Leicester City returned to winning ways in the UEFA Europa Conference League after a five-game losing streak.
After linking with compatriot Ademola Lookman in the 23rd minute, Ndidi fired the hosts ahead at the King Power Stadium.
It was the Nigerian international’s second goal in Europe this season, following his goal in the Uefa Europa League group stage against Legia Warsaw.
Nonetheless, Vito Hammershoy-Mistrati equalized on the stroke of half-time, but Harvey Barnes revived the hosts’ lead in the 49th minute immediately after the restart.

The Foxes’ lead was subsequently extended when Zambia’s Daka poked in a rebound in the 54th minute.
Lookman was called into action again near the end of the game, assisting on Kiernan Dewsbury Hall’s goal in the 74th minute, which gave them a convincing victory.
Lookman started and finished with Ghana’s Daniel Amartey, while Ndidi and Daka were substituted after 64 minutes and replaced by James Maddison and Kelechi Iheanacho.
