31-year-old Francisca Ordega has officially joined Al-Ittihad Ladies in the Saudi Women’s League on a two-year deal, following her departure from CSKA Moscow.
This decision marks a new chapter in Ordega’s career as she seeks to make an impact in the Middle East after a successful stint in Russia, Footballrover reports.

The CEO of Al-Ittihad Ladies, Mr. Domingos Oliveira, emphasised that the acquisition of Ordega is part of the club’s broader strategy to enhance their team’s competitive edge.
Oliveira expressed confidence that the addition of the experienced forward would play an important role in improving the team’s performance in future competitions.
Ordega’s move reunites her with fellow Nigerian international Ashleigh Plumptre, the captain of the club.
Their partnership promises to bring added strength to the club, with both players having a wealth of international experience.

During her time at CSKA Moscow, Ordega delivered standout performances, making 84 appearances, scoring 29 goals, and providing 20 assists.
Her contributions were vital in securing multiple honours, including two Russian Cup titles and four Super League silver medals.
As a stalwart of the Super Falcons, Ordega has represented Nigeria in four FIFA Women’s World Cup tournaments and helped secure several Africa Women Cup of Nations titles.
