Moses Simon, Super Eagles winger, continues to dazzle in Ligue 1 with a goal and an assist for FC Nantes in their smashing 5-3 victory over Girondins de Bordeaux on Sunday.
The 26-year-old was outstanding for his team in the game as Bordeaux took a 2-0 lead in the first half courtesy of goals from M’Baye Niang and Javairo Dilrosun.
Kalifa Coulibaly then managed to grab one back for Nantes at the Beaujoire Stadium before Ricardo Mangas leveled the game with an own goal.
Enock Kwateng, a former Nantes player, restored the lead for Bordeaux before Simon set up Coulibaly for a second equalizer.
Moses Simon then scored in the 76th minute to give Antoine Kombouaré’s team the lead for the first time, before Osman Bukari sealed the 5-3 victory in stoppage time.
Moses Simon now has four goals and eight assists in Ligue 1 for Nantes, who are currently in tenth place.
