Super Eagles forward, Terem Moffi scored a stunning solo goal, but it wasn’t enough as FC Lorient lost 2-1 at the Stade du Moustoir on Sunday.

The 22-year-old equalized for FC Lorient in their French Ligue 1 match against Stade de Reims on matchday 35.

Arbr Zeneli, Swedish player, scored the opener for the La Garca team with a straightforward tap in the 18 yard box barely 17 minutes into the game.

Terem Moffi levelled the scores 17 minutes later with a solo effort, beating three defenders and the goalkeeper to slide the ball home.

After going four months without a goal since the end of 2021, Moffi regains his touch with a run from within his own half that ends with him rounding the goalie to score.

El Bilal Touré scores 14 minutes into the second half to give the visitors the victory and all three points after the hosts squandered a couple of chances to win.

Terem Moffi has eight goals and four assists for FC Lorient, who are currently in 16th place with 34 points and has just three games left to play this season.

I know he’s had a harder time of it this season with Lorient but I’d be surprised if clubs aren’t looking at Terem Moffi. He’s an incredible athlete, not a conventional target man despite his size, more similar to Lukaku in that he thrives running into spaces.

When they meet Marseille on Sunday, the Christophe Pélissier’s team will definitely be eager to redeem the setback.
