As part of the final phase of their two-week training camp in Bogotá, Colombia, for this year’s U-20 Women’s World Cup, Nigeria’s U-20 women’s football team, the Falconets, will play two tune-up matches against Australia and Mexico.
The Falconets are set to face Australia on Friday, August 23, 2024, and will take on Mexico three days later, Footballrover reports.
On Sunday evening, August 18, 2024, the Falconets were welcomed to the Colombian capital, Bogotá, with colorful traditional dancers, flag-waving enthusiasts, and members of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, Colombia 2024.
After a light training session on Monday to help them overcome jet lag, the Nigeria U-20 women’s team will intensify their preparations on Tuesday as they aim for a strong campaign to win the trophy.
