The reigning NPFL champions, Enyimba FC, have officially and proudly announced the recruitment of two exciting new players to their squad: George Enyia Owen and Frank Boateng.
Enyimba is committed to maintaining excellence. To bolster their squad and defend the title, they’ve secured the talents of 19-year-old playmaker George Enyia Owen and goalkeeper Frank Boateng.
Both players have agreed to terms and successfully completed their medicals, committing to long-term contracts and securing their stay with the Aba-based club for at least two years.
George Enyia Owen, hailing from Jos, is set to don the number 8 jersey for the team, while Frank Boateng, previously with Kotoku Royals FC, is the new addition in goal.
These signings will infuse strength and agility into the squad as they set their sights on reclaiming the African Football League (AFL) and NPFL titles.
Meanwhile, Owen and Boateng were not the only new players recruited and officially unveiled by the defending NPFL Champions.
Enyimba has also introduced two more exciting talents: Izuogu Chidiebere, “an average kid from Owerri,” and towering defender Desmond Ojietefian from the Oluyole Warriors (Shooting Stars).
The new signings are a positive sign for the club’s ambitions in the upcoming season
As Enyimba prepares for the 2023–24 NPFL season, the contributions of these four new signings will be closely watched, with time revealing their impact on the team’s performance.
