Bendel Insurance forward Imade Osarenkhoe has been named the League Bloggers Association, LBA Nigeria Premier Football League Player of the Month for January.

Imade Osarenkhoe have been in superb form for Bendel Insurance, scoring four goals in five NPFL appearances, including an opener in their 3-0 thrashing of Remo Stars.

With 4 goals, the league joint-top scorer beat out Onyebuchi Ifeanyi of Plateau United, Yusuf Taiye of Gombe United and his team mate – Ismael Seriki to earn the title.

On Saturday January 28, the 22-year-old scored the game’s first goal to help Monday Odigie side thrash Remo Stars to take charge of Group A as league leaders, only failed to find back of the net against El-Kanemi Warriors.

His goal gave the Benin Arsenal the advantage over their opponents in their NPFL match, securing a comfortable victory heading into the 2023/2024 campaign.

With Bendel Insurance at the top of the abridged NPFL Group A table, the Uniben graduate will be hoping to keep up his incredible form in order to help the Benin outfit clinch the league title at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, coach – Monday Odigie who had a 4/4 wins with Insurance in January also won the Coach of the Month of January.
