Enugu Rangers midfielder Isaac Saviour exudes confidence as his team prepares to face Katsina United today.
According to Saviour, there’s nothing extraordinary about this match, claiming that his team is fully equipped to secure victory and all three points in front of their home fans, Footballrover reports
Saviour emphasised the team’s readiness to exploit the weak spots in Katsina United’s play, aiming to clinch all three points after the game.
The anticipated clash will take place at the Awka City Stadium, where the Flying Antelopes will host their NPFL counterparts on matchday nine.
Expressing his perspective to the club’s media, Saviour stated that,
“The game against Katsina United is nothing special; we have our goal, and we will push for it in the encounter.”
Joining the Coal City club from the Nigeria National League’s Vandrezzer earlier this season, the 21-year-old midfielder highlighted the fallibility of any defence, affirming their intent to capitalise on Katsina United’s flaws for a decisive victory.
“No defence is unbeatable, as we will work on the lapses of our visitors to get the maximum points at stake,” he said.
Having featured in every game for Rangers this season, including netting a goal in their 4-1 win over Kano Pillars, Saviour aims to continue his impressive performance throughout the season.
