However, in a last-ditch effort, Ismael Sarki delivered a stunning strike in the 95th minute, deep into added time, rescuing a point for the home team and concluding the match at 2-2.

This remarkable late equaliser added an extra layer of excitement to an already intense encounter as the Benin Arsenal side now moves to sixth spot on the NPFL table while Kwara United sits in 12th place.

Andrew Majalisa’s first-half goal secured a 1-0 win for the home team against the Tin City Boys at the Gombe Township Stadium Pantami.

This victory marks the third consecutive victory for the Gombe-based team, propelling them temporarily to second place in the league standings with 17 points gathered from nine gripping games.

Plateau United holds onto the seventh spot, amassing 13 points following this closely fought match.
