During his post-match interview, Mangut acknowledged the Savannah Tigers’ resilience in holding off his team’s pressure until the final whistle.
He expressed general satisfaction with the team’s performance and lauded the discipline and compactness of the Gombe Boys during the game.
“Generally, I think the team did well. The opponent, we have to give it to them, is well disciplined, compact, and able to withstand the pressure. They had an early goal, and they kept to it till the end,” Mangut said.
With this win, Doma United ascended to the second spot on the league table, while Plateau United remains in 7th position.
The Savannah Tigers maintain an impressive unbeaten streak in their last five league matches, securing three consecutive wins.

Meanwhile, Doma United will be looking to maintain their brilliant run so far when they get to visit Ikenne stadium to face Remo Stars.
