Former Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) star Blessing Okpe has officially been unveiled as a new player for Dnepr Mogilev FC in the Belarus Women’s League.

The ex-Rivers Angels winger joins Dnepr Mogilev from Dinamo Minsk as she continues to build on her success in the Belarusian Vysshaya Liga Women, Footballrover reports.

Before her move at the beginning of April, Okpe made a huge impact at Dinamo Minsk, registering over 12 goals in 24 appearances for the club.

The highlight of her spell came on November 20, 2025, when she scored four goals to inspire a commanding 10-1 victory over FC Gomel Women.

She netted all four goals in the second half, taking just 16 minutes to complete her first-ever career hat-trick and 18 minutes to score four goals.

She finished the season at the top of the table, winning the Vysshaya Liga title with the club.

Okpe also featured in the UEFA Women’s Champions League with Dinamo Minsk before her contract expired.

Previously, the 22-year-old winger played in Nigeria for Rivers Angels between 2019 and 2024. In September 2024, she signed for Turkish side Amedspor, where she scored two goals.

At international level, she was part of the Nigeria U20 team that reached the quarter-finals of the 2022 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup, making three appearances.

Okpe eyes breakthrough as Nigerians shine in Belarus league

Although the former Nigeria U20 star is yet to feature for the Super Falcons, she continues to push for a breakthrough at senior level.

Blessing Okpe is not the only Nigerian in the Belarus Women’s League. Former Bayelsa Queens midfielder Mary Aderemi recently joined her at the club, while Super Falcons star Blessing Nkor moved to Dynamo Brest.

Okpe’s arrival is expected to boost Dnepr Mogilev’s push for the league title this season.

However, the team currently sits in the danger zone after losing their opening two matches of the season, including a 1-0 defeat to Okpe’s former club, where she featured for 30 minutes.
