It was another action-packed weekend — and even Monday night — for Nigerian stars abroad, as goals and assists poured in from Europe to Asia.

From Emeka Eze’s creative spark in Turkey to Rasheed Akanbi’s first goal, Nigerian players made their presence felt on the big stage, Footballrover reports.

Emeka Eze’s Masterclass and Rasheed Akanbi’s Golden Debut

In Turkey’s 1. Lig, Emeka Eze put on a brilliant performance for Çorum FK, playing 85 minutes and grabbing an assist to help his team earn a 2–0 home win over Amed Sportif.

Still in the same division, Rasheed Ibrahim Akanbi marked his league debut for Boluspor with a 20th-minute goal, though his side fell 3–2 at home to Vanspor.

Other Nigerian Stars Abroad Deliver Goals and Assists

Over in the MLS Next Pro, Emmanuel Uchegbu found the back of the net in the 36th minute, but his goal wasn’t enough as Crown Legacy suffered a 4–3 away defeat to FC Cincinnati 2.

In Uzbekistan’s Super League, Richard Friday put Dinamo Samarqand ahead in the 18th minute before they were pegged back for a 1–1 home draw against Pakhtakor.

Serbia’s SuperLiga saw Ejike Opara deliver a standout performance, scoring and assisting as Novi Pazar claimed a thrilling 3–2 away win over Radnicki.

In Israel’s League Cup, Peter Godly Michael struck early for Ironi Tiberias in the 4th minute, but they went down 2–1 to Kiryat Shmona in Group A’s fifth round.

Back in the Turkish Super Lig, Anthony Junior Dennis put the icing on Göztepe’s 3–0 away win over Rizespor with a stoppage-time goal in the 90th minute.

Slovenia’s Prva Liga action saw Peter Agba play the full 90 minutes and register an assist as NK Olimpija earned a 3–1 away win at NK Domžale.

In Finland’s Ykkönen, David Nworah opened the scoring in the 26th minute for Atlantis FC, who edged OLS Oulu 3–2 at home.

Finally, in the Czech Liga 1, Abdullahi Tanko put in a solid 77-minute shift and provided an assist as FC Pardubice held Hradec Králové to a 1–1 away draw.

From debut goals to last-minute finishes, Nigerian stars abroad once again left their mark worldwide.
