Edo Queens head coach, Moses Aduku, has issued a stern warning to their rivals in the upcoming CAF Women’s Champions League, declaring that his team will be in Cote d’Ivoire for business, not pleasure.
The Nigerian Premiership champions were drawn into Group B alongside Ghana’s Hasaacas Ladies, Burkina Faso’s Omnisports Etincelle FC, and Niger’s AS Garde Nationale, Footballrover reports.
The draw was carried out and overseen by officials of CAF at their headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, on Wednesday.
Speaking after the draw, Aduku expressed determination to secure a spot in the main tournament.
On behalf of the club, Aduku informed the media that they have reviewed the draws and acknowledged the fierce rivalry between Nigeria and Ghana.
