Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech has taken to social media to mock Al Nassr, the Saudi Arabian side, for their failure to sign him despite initial negotiations.
Failed Al Nassr Transfer: Ziyech Laughs Off Assessment on IG
The Moroccan international was on the verge of joining the Saudi Pro League team alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, a knee problem discovered during his medical examination led to the collapse of the deal.
Ziyech has now returned to his holiday and has playfully tested his knee on the pitch while laughing at Al Nassr’s assessment of his fitness.
The highly anticipated transfer deal between Hakim Ziyech and Al Nassr hit a major snag last week when a medical examination revealed a knee problem.
Despite Chelsea’s willingness to lower the transfer fee and facilitate the deal, Al Nassr failed to reach an agreement with the player.
Ziyech, who is currently enjoying his vacation, decided to showcase his fitness and mock Al Nassr’s concerns on his Instagram story.

The talented winger demonstrated his agility and playfully tested his supposedly problematic knee on the pitch, leaving fans entertained and questioning the Saudi Arabian side’s assessment of his condition.
Had the transfer materialized, Ziyech would have joined Al Nassr as their marquee signing of the summer.
The deal would have made him the fourth Chelsea player to make the switch to Saudi Arabia, following in the footsteps of N’Golo Kante, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Edouard Mendy.
N’Golo Kante, who recently won the prestigious Ballon d’Or award, joined Al Ittihad after the expiration of his contract with Chelsea.
He now shares the field with Karim Benzema, another notable signing for the champions.
Kalidou Koulibaly, the commanding defender, bid farewell to Stamford Bridge and signed with Al Hilal, thus concluding his one-year spell at Chelsea.
The move to Saudi Arabia offers him new challenges and opportunities to showcase his skills.
Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy was sold to Al Ahli, further strengthening the ties between Chelsea and Saudi Arabian football.
