Enyimba’s 3-1 loss to Zamalek of Egypt in the CAF Confederation Cup and a 2-0 defeat to Kwara United have left Brown Ideye deeply frustrated.

The former Super Eagles striker, reflecting on the team’s recent struggles, made a bold statement about the state of the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) and its readiness for continental football, Footballrover reports.

Prior to their consecutive 2-0 losses to Kano Pillars and Kwara United, the Aba Elephants had already been defeated by CAF Confederation Cup champions Zamalek.

In the rescheduled Week 16 match at the Ilorin Township Stadium yesterday, Kwara United further deepened Enyimba’s misery, leaving Brown Ideye visibly disappointed.
