Bernardo Silva scored twice to earn Manchester City a 4-0 home victory and an aggregate scoreline of 5-1 after the 1-1 draw in the first leg of the semi-final encounter at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

Bernado Silva slotted in from close range after Kevin De Bruyne took two Real Madrid defenders to the cleaners for Manchester City’s first goal in the 23rd minute of the first half of the match.

Indeed, it was Manchester City defensive midfielder Manuel Akanji who touched on a free kick before the ball hit Militao’s leg and into his own net.
