David Alaba is convinced that more work needs to be done after Real Madrid’s 5-2 demolition of Liverpool in their UEFA Champions League round of 16 first-leg match on Tuesday night at Anfield.
These longtime rivals were able to reunite nearly nine months after their previous encounter, which Madrid won by a score of 1-0 in the Champions League final of the previous season.

Nonetheless, Madrid is in the lead once more and this time around in the knockout rounds, after taking a 5-2 lead over Liverpool entering the second leg.
Four minutes in, Nunez slid a backheel past Courtois to give the Premier League team the lead, and the goalkeeper later handed Salah the second.
After that, Madrid completely changed the game by having Vinicius score two goals before halftime. He whipped the first goal past Alisson before obstructing the keeper’s pass and sending it looping in.

Two minutes after the break, Militao hammered an unguarded header, and Benzema’s brace completed the amazing comeback.
Even though the Jurgen Klopp team will have a formidable challenge when they visit the Bernabeu for the second leg in three weeks, David Alaba insists that the job is not yet finished for the Spanish powerhouse.
“Job’s not finished” – he wrote.

Madrid wins their fifth straight game as they put themselves in a very solid position and will be facing Atletico Madrid up next in LaLiga.
When Liverpool plays Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday, they’ll be hoping to put their mistakes behind them.
