Anthony Nwakaeme, Nigerian forward, has successfully completed his Turkish Super Lig season with a bang, scoring a goal despite his team’s heavy defeat away from home.
On the final day, Instabul Basaksehir defeated Trabzonspor 3-1 on Sunday, with Nwakaeme scoring the game’s final goal in a four-goal thriller.
Former Roma forward – Stefano Okaka, grabbed the game’s first goal 11 minutes into the game at the Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadium.

Alexandru Epureanu, Moldovan centre-back, doubled the lead for the home side 20 minutes later. Serdar Gürler then made it 3-0 with three minutes left in the first half.
Before the 33-year-old Nigerian forward managed to strike one back for his team in the 59th minute, but the defeat was inevitable as Instabul Basaksehir held on to win.
Anthony Nwakaeme scored 14 goals in 32 appearances for Trabzonspor this season, including 13 league goals, 10 assists, and a league title.
Despite the loss, Trabzonspor finished the season as Turkish Süper Lig champions with 81 points, 23 wins, 12 draws, and three losses from 38 matches.

Instabul Basaksehir, on the other hand, finished fourth with 65 points, 19 wins, 8 draws, and 11 losses.
