André Onana has continued with the tradition, rewriting his name in European football history for an unwanted record: the first goalkeeper to reach three major European finals with three different clubs, only to lose each one.

The Cameroonian shot-stopper’s unfortunate streak continued as Tottenham Hotspur defeated Manchester United 1-0 in the 2025 Europa League final, Footballrover reports.
