Nigerian forward Akor Adams, flourishing at Montpellier, has expressed contentment with his current club amidst growing interest from AC Milan.

Joining Montpellier from Norwegian side Lillestrom last summer in a €4.5 million deal, Adams has surpassed expectations, Footballrover reports

His impact has been profound, netting seven goals in 11 appearances, securing the second spot on the league’s top scorers’ list, trailing only six goals behind PSG sensation Kylian Mbappe.

Despite rumblings of interest from AC Milan, talks remain preliminary, with no concrete offers on the table.

Adams, however, emphasized his satisfaction at Montpellier, attributing it to the club’s nurturing environment and the genuine care he has received since his arrival.

“I am happy with my current situation and where I am. It’s a good environment to grow as a young player,” Adams said as quoted by Allez Paillade.

The Nigerian Striker added that;

“I have everything I need here in Montpellier. I’m happy with my decision to come to a club that takes good care of me. I have a very good group around me. I am satisfied.”

Should Adams sustain his scoring prowess, he could emerge as a highly coveted figure in the upcoming transfer window. However, for now, his focus remains on thriving with Montpellier, leaving any potential move uncertain.
