Calling football “smart work,” Nkor emphasises the dedication, discipline, and commitment required to succeed.

However, her view doesn’t stop with just the effort; Nkor sees the sport as an opportunity for personal growth.

She highlights the exposure football offers—allowing players to travel, immerse themselves in different cultures, and interact with diverse groups of people.

“I consider football as hard and smart work, exposure, education, culture, life, and a platform to empower oneself as a footballer. Feel free to add yours as a footballer,” she wrote as a caption to photos on her X platform.

Blessing Nkor’s winning debut: A glimpse of what’s to come

The Nigerian starlet recently made an impactful debut for Deportivo La Coruña, as she was part of the team that secured a crucial 2-0 win over Real Betis in their Liga F clash last weekend.

Though she could only feature for just three minutes, the Nigerian forward, on loan from Turkish club Gaziantep Asya Spor, contributed to a much-needed victory on the road.

Nkor’s next challenge comes on February 1, when Deportivo hosts bottom-placed Valencia.

The Super Falcons star will be eager to make her full debut and, potentially, open her goal-scoring account for the Spanish club as they aim to climb the table and improve their position in the league standings.
