Al-Nassr delegation in Germany: Boniface’s transfer in the works

According to popular transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, the Al Nassr delegation arrived in Germany earlier this week to negotiate with both Victor Boniface and Bayer Leverkusen, with a deal reportedly underway.

Financial details are still being ironed out, but it’s clear that the Saudi club has set its sights on the 24-year-old forward, whose contract has already been extended through 2029.

Boniface’s value has soared following an impressive season with Leverkusen, where he scored 29 goals and assisted 11 in 49 games.

Sources suggest that his price could reach €50 million (£42m/$52m).

If the move to Al-Nassr goes through, the Nigerian international will join Cristiano Ronaldo, Aymeric Laporte, and Sadio Mané as teammates.

Although a contract extension has already been ironed out, a move to Saudi Arabia, or even a potential sale to Premier League giants like Manchester United, remains a possibility.

Xabi Alonso, Bayer Leverkusen head coach, has already confirmed that a deal is on for Victor Boniface to Al Nassr.

“There is this situation, and I understand that there are discussions with the club. We have to wait. We’re preparing for the game without Boni, of course”.
