Napoli superstar Victor Osimhen struck gold, securing a hefty fortune after netting three goals, propelling the Super Eagles of Nigeria to a resounding victory against Sao Tome on a Sunday evening.

The Nigerian forward showed no mercy to the visitors, finding the back of the net in both the first and second halves, contributing significantly to the Eagles’ triumphant 6-0 win at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

In a spectacular conclusion to their AFCON qualification campaign, the Nigerian team witnessed the likes of Taiwo Awoniyi, Lookman Ademola, and Samuel Chukwueze joining Osimhen on the scoresheet.

The Super Eagles star is relentlessly pursuing records, having notched up 10 goals in the AFCON Qualifiers.

Osimhen now requires just 17 more goals to equal the illustrious record held by Nigeria’s all-time highest goalscorer, the late Rashidi Yekini.
