Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen has finally delivered the much await goal for Galatasaray, netting a brace under 30 minutes during a thrilling 3-3 draw with Kasimpasa in Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.
The Nigerian striker, who had already recorded three assists this season, added two goals to his tally, scoring in the 20th and 28th minutes to put his side comfortably ahead, Footballrover reports.
Galatasaray’s fast start fizzles after Osimhen’s injury exit
Galatasaray looked set for a commanding victory when Mauro Icardi, the former Inter Milan forward, extended the lead to 3-0 just six minutes later.

However, Kasimpasa refused to go down quietly. With just one minute left before halftime, Mamadou Fall clawed one back, giving the visitors a lifeline.
Unfortunately for Galatasaray, Osimhen’s night ended prematurely as he was forced off at halftime due to injury, leaving his team to defend their lead without him.
Kasimpasa sensed an opportunity and began piling on the pressure.
Haris Hajradinovic converted a penalty in the 83rd minute, cutting the deficit further, and the comeback was complete in stoppage time when Da Costa found the back of the net in the 95th minute.
Kasimpasa’s dramatic late comeback spoils Osimhen’s big night
Despite the frustrating draw, Galatasaray remain on top of the Turkish Super Lig table with 19 points after seven matches, while Kasimpasa sit 12th with seven points.
