Victor Osimhen delivered another big-stage performance in the Champions League as the Nigerian forward fired a ruthless brace to inspire Galatasaray to a 3–1 victory over Bodø/Glimt at RAMS Park.

The Super Eagles forward struck twice in the opening half to put the Turkish champions in control and extend their growing momentum in Europe.

Victor Osimhen Brace Ignites Champions League Clash

Galatasaray needed a fast start and Victor Osimhen wasted no time. After just three minutes, the forward punished a sloppy Bodø/Glimt turnover, racing through to cushion a composed first-time finish beyond Haikin for the opener.

Former Wolves midfielder Mario Lemina won the midfield battle and released Osimhen with a precise through ball, setting the tone for a dominant spell.

Galatasaray Continue European Momentum

Bodø/Glimt briefly showed signs of life after the break, but Galatasaray remained relentless.

Yunus Akgün capitalised on another defensive mistake to make it 3–0 from close range, effectively sealing the Champions League win.

The visitors later pulled one back through Helmerson, yet the night firmly belonged to Osimhen and Galatasaray’s clinical attack.

The result marks back-to-back European victories following their heavy 5–1 loss to Frankfurt on opening night.

With six games unbeaten in all competitions—five wins and a draw—Galatasaray now carry real momentum into their next fixture against Göztepe on Sunday.

For Osimhen, his tally rises to five goals in eight matches across all competitions this season.
