Super Falcons star Toni Payne delivered an impressive performance on Thursday, scoring a goal and providing an assist to inspire Everton to a five-star victory over West Brom in the Women’s FA Cup Round of 32.
The Nigerian international supplied the opener before adding Everton’s fourth goal as the Toffees cruised to a dominant 5–0 win at the Alexander Stadium, Footballrover reports.

The 30-year-old did more than just contribute directly to the goals. She also recorded the highest passing accuracy of the match, completing 100% of her passes among players who featured for at least 45 minutes.
Payne’s outing came to an end after 62 minutes, when she was replaced by Ellie Jones.
Her performance against West Brom took her total goal contributions for the season to six — four goals and two assists.
That tally includes one goal and one assist in the Women’s League Cup, two goals in the WSL, and one goal and one assist in the Women’s FA Cup.
Barely nine minutes into the game, Yuka Momiki fired her side into the lead. Payne slipped her through one-on-one with the keeper, and the Everton number 29 kept her composure to poke the ball past Clarke.

With 33 minutes on the clock, Yuka bagged her brace. The forward received the ball on the turn, drove forward, and unleashed a superb strike that nestled into the top-right corner.
Just before half-time, Payne almost made it three as she rounded the onrushing Clarke and took aim from a tight angle, but her low effort whistled just wide of the post.
A superb start to the second half then saw the lead extended, as Omella Vignola, Payne, and Isabella Hobson all found the net in the space of five minutes to make it five for the Blues.
🗣️ “We were good, we created a lot of chances. The girls did a good, professional job today,” Everton boss Brian Sorensen said.
