Nwaneri’s attacking instincts impress Walcott
Walcott went on to explain how Nwaneri’s ability to take on defenders both inside and out makes him a solid attacker.
The former Arsenal star noted how the academy product has consistently earned admiration for his attacking instincts.
Walcott also spoke about Nwaneri’s impressive midweek performance, where his direct style of play and eagerness to shoot show his end product.
According to Walcott, the young midfielder doesn’t shy away from responsibility and constantly looks to create goal-scoring opportunities.
A bright future for Arsenal’s rising star
Reflecting on Nwaneri’s growth, Walcott expressed confidence in his future, praising his ability to make space and create opportunities, even under pressure.
“The great thing about him is, the first words that come to me are fearless and confidence on the ball.”
“He’s a player that has been highly regarded in the academy, and again, he goes on the outside and on the inside, likes to commit defenders,” Walcott said on BBC’s Match of the Day.
He believes that if Nwaneri continues this way, the sky’s the limit for the talented teenager.
