Meanwhile, Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has unveiled a 39-man provisional squad for the upcoming match.

The list includes five goalkeepers, ten defenders, ten midfielders and 14 forwards, with the final squad expected to be trimmed to 23 players before the showdown.

  • The Super Eagles camp will open in Kigali on Sunday, March 16.
  • The final squad list will be revealed this week before the players report to camp.
  • Nigeria will face Rwanda in Kigali on Friday, March 21, before hosting Zimbabwe’s Warriors at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo four days later at 5 PM.

As the tension builds, all eyes will be on Uyo to see whether the Nigerian Eagles can silence Zimbabwe or if Nees’ men will defy expectations.
