Sebastian Flourish, the attacking star of Falconets, continued her impressive form at the WAFU B Women’s U-20 Football Championship in the ongoing Super 6 tournament.
She continued her outstanding performance by scoring the solitary goal for Bayelsa Queens against FC Robo at the ongoing Super 6 National Women’s Football League (NWFL) in Asaba, Delta State.
During the second Group A match held at Stephen Keshi Stadium on Wednesday morning, Sabastian Flourish netted the decisive goal for Bayelsa Queens in the 57th minute of the second half.
Her goal secured maximum points for the Yenagoa-based football queens, after a goalless first half. FC Robo of Lagos suffered a 0-2 defeat against Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt in their previous group match.
Sabastian Flourish displayed her prowess by scoring a total of three goals against Togo and Burkina Faso in the recently concluded WAFU B Women’s U-20 Football Championship in Ghana.
In Group B of the NWFL Super 6, Confluence Queens emerged victorious against Edo Queens with a lone goal scored in the 56th minute of the second half.
The match remained goalless in the first half. Confluence Queens had previously lost their opening group match 1-3 against Delta Oueens on Tuesday.
