Augustine Eguavoen, the coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, confirmed his squad for the upcoming World Cup play-offs against Ghana later this month on Friday.

Ademola Lookman receives his first call up after being cleared to play for Nigeria, while Young Akinkunmi Amoo has also been given the opportunity to makes his debut for the Eagles.

The two youngsters earned their maiden invitation for the crucial World Cup Qualifiers against Ghana.

Many Super Eagles fans have turned to social media to express their unhappiness with certain players invited by the team’s head coach.

According to Twitter users, Umar Sadiq and Odion Ighalo have no place in the squad that will face the Black Stars.

The Eagles will play their West African rivals on March 25 at Cape Coast Stadium in the first leg, with the second leg scheduled for March 29 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
