After a brilliant outing over the weekend, Remo Stars players and their coach have taken center stage in the Nigeria Premier Football League’s Team of the Week for matchday three.
The remarkable achievement comes on the heels of the Sky Blues’ sensational away victory in the 2023/24 season, where they triumphed 2-1 over Bayelsa United in Yenagoa, Footballrover reports

The standout performers for Remo Stars were none other than Defender Nduka Junior, 19-year-old Forward Adams Olamilekan, and the talented Sikiru Alimi.

Olamilekan and Alimi lit up the scoreboard with crucial goals, showcasing their scoring prowess in front of the net.
Meanwhile, Nduka Junior’s commanding presence at the backline left both home and away fans in awe of his defensive skills.
Their noisy neighbours were not left out as Sporting Lagos also left their mark on the Team of the Week, with 23-year-old midfielder Chinedu Ufere and Godwin Odion earning their spots, despite a goalless draw against Doma United at home.
