Viktoria Plzen fans will be talking about this match for a long time. Rafiu Durosinmi put on a masterclass, scoring two goals and providing an assist to inspire his team to a thrilling 4-2 victory over Sparta Prague at the Epet Arena.
The win not only secured three valuable points but also propelled Plzen into third place, overtaking Sparta by a single point in the league standings, Footballrover reports.

Sparta Prague started the match on the front foot, with Lukáš Haraslín opening the scoring in the 8th minute after a clever assist from Qazim Laçi.
However, Viktoria Plzen responded quickly, with Pavel Šulc finding the net in the 14th minute, thanks to a precise pass from Lukáš Kalvach.
The momentum shifted in Plzen’s favor when Rafiu Durosinmi stepped up in the 37th minute, finishing off a well-worked play assisted by Cadu to give his team the lead.
Sparta made attacking changes at halftime, introducing Nigerian forward Victor Olatunji.
Their persistence paid off when Filip Panák equalised in the 48th minute, briefly reigniting their hopes.
But Durosinmi had other plans. Just five minutes later, he restored Plzen’s lead with his second goal of the night, this time set up by Matěj Vydra.
The 22-year-old wasn’t done yet—he turned provider in the 61st minute, assisting Vydra to seal the 4-2 victory. It was a performance of sheer brilliance from the Nigerian forward.

This win was more than just three points for Plzen; it was a statement of intent. After their narrow 1-0 defeat to Baník Ostrava in the previous match, they needed a response—and they delivered in style.
Rafiu Durosinmi now boasts six goals and five assists in the Czech First League, along with two goals and two assists in the Europa League, bringing his total goal contributions to 15 this season.
Despite receiving a yellow card in the 12th minute, Durosinmi remained a dominant force throughout the match before being substituted in stoppage time for Daniel Vašulín.
His compatriot Victor Olatunji, who entered in the second half, also picked up a booking in the 73rd minute but couldn’t help Sparta avoid defeat.
With this emphatic victory, Viktoria Plzen strengthens their push for a strong league finish, proving they are serious contenders.
As for Rafiu Durosinmi, his performance sees him continue to live up to expectations as the most exciting young talents in the league.
