We need your support – Leicester City forward, Ademola Lookman cry out to Nigerians as Super Eagles set to face Black Stars of Ghana.
Lookman has expressed his gratitude to God for the opportunity to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the World Cup playoff against Ghana last week Friday.
The winger came into the game as a substitute in the 74th minute, replacing Simon Moses in a game that failed to live up to expectations, ending goalless at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
Putting on a Super Eagles shirt and flying the country’s colours, according to Ademola Lookman, means everything to him.
The 24-year-old, who made the statement on his social media page, went on to urge Nigerians to come out in full force to support the Eagles when they face the Black Stars of Ghana in a rematch at the Abuja National Stadium on Tuesday.
Lookman wrote on his Twitter page;
“Extremely proud and grateful to have made my @NGSuperEagles debut. Thank you God for the opportunity, it means everything to put on the shirt and represent my country. See you on Tuesday. We need your support.”
