The match kicked off with Olimpija taking an early lead in the 8th minute through Alex Tamm’s goal.

Primorje’s hopes of a comeback were dashed just 22 minutes later when former NPFL star, Rafiu Kayode Ishaq, was shown a red card for a reckless challenge, leaving his team a man down.

Olimpija doubled their advantage shortly before halftime, with Jorge Silva adding a second in the 41st minute.

Things went from bad to worse for Primorje in the second half, as they were further weakened by another red card just 16 minutes after the restart.

Edvin Suljanovic’s dismissal left Primorje down to just nine players, allowing Olimpija to press home their advantage.
