The 24-year-old forward’s move comes after his former club, Sporting Lagos, suffered relegation from the top tier of the Nigerian league, Footballrover reports.

The Nigerian impressed during a two-week trial with Neuchatel Xamax, convincing the Swiss club to offer him a contract.

Specific details regarding the contract length and financial terms remain undisclosed.

Neuchatel Xamax fans can expect to see Durugbor sporting the number 22 jersey.

The former 1472 FC forward wasted no time making his mark, finding the back of the net for his new club.

The ex-NPFL star netted the opening goal in a convincing 4-0 pre-season friendly victory over FC Sion on Wednesday.

This isn’t Durugbor’s first foray into foreign land.

Previously, he enjoyed stints with Swedish club Växjö BK, Libyan side Al-Khums SC, and AS Soliman in Tunisia.
