It’s likely that many people missed the Super Eagles Derby over the weekend, which was so exciting and actually exceeded everyone’s expectations, especially in Serie A.
The Super Eagles Derby in the Premier League completely fell short of expectations as there was little to no excitement, no standout performances, and very little outcome to write about.
Lookman Ademola and Victor Osimhen went head-to-head in the Serie A Super Eagles Derby, battling for dominance, but the Napoli star was able to steal the show after 90 minutes of game play.
In Napoli’s narrow away victory over Atalanta, Victor Osimhen not only scored one goal but also provided an assist for another, while Lookman Ademola managed to grab his sixth goal of the season.
Atalanta and Napoli squared off at the Gewiss Stadium with Atalanta hoping to end Napoli’s incredible run of form, and they got the game started to a strong start.
Ademola Lookman, who was on fire for Atalanta, had two of his early shots on goal blocked before Victor Osimhen gave away a penalty for a hand ball inside the penalty area.
Ademola took the penalty kick and calmly scored for the home team with a right-footed strike into the top right corner.
Victor Osimhen atoned for his earlier mistake four minutes later by scoring an equalizer to put Napoli back in the game.
Ademola Lookman had several opportunities to give the hosts the lead but missed them all. Victor Osimhen, the Napoli star man then changed the game by turning the ball over to Eljif Elmas, who scored the game-winning goal to secure all three points.
According to the Serie A star Boys’ stats, Ademola Lookman has scored five goals in his past six league matches while Victor Osimhen has scored six goals in his last four league games.

Meanwhile, Alex Iwobi gave a strong midfield performance in the Premier League, but he was unable to stop Everton from losing at home against Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi’s team.
Undoubtedly, Leicester City was the better team, and the Foxes relentlessly attacked the Toffees, leading to two fantastic goals.
Late in the second half, Barnes slipped a goal into the top corner following Tielemans’ incredible long-range strike at the end of the first.
It wasn’t the best way to end their campaign at Goodison Park before leaving for the World Cup, but Everton’s poor performance helped Leicester to surpass them in the Premier League table.
Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho did not participate in the first half of play. Iheanacho failed to play a part in the game, while Ndidi entered the game in the 70th minute to offer some new energy in the midfield, replacing Soumare.
