Moses Simon was in superb form on Friday evening, delivering a crucial assist to help Paris FC claim a well-deserved 2-0 win over Lorient in their Ligue 1 round seven clash at the Stade Jean Bouin.
The Super Eagles winger’s sharp display was key as he set up the second goal of the night, Footballrover reports.

The 30-year-old also completed two successful dribbles, taking his season tally to two goals and two assists in seven league appearances.
It was Simon’s first direct goal involvement since August, when he contributed to Paris’ thrilling 3-2 win over Metz.
The winger worked tirelessly for 85 minutes before being substituted for Nhoa Sangui.
The match opened in dramatic fashion as Jean-Philippe Krasso thought he had scored just two minutes in, firing in a superb strike from the edge of the box.
However, VAR intervention by referee Benoit Millot ruled the effort out for offside in the build-up.
Paris FC did not have to wait long to celebrate, though. In the 24th minute, Krasso’s clever pass found Ilan Kebbal inside the box, and the midfielder coolly slotted home to give the hosts the lead.

Just five minutes later, Simon turned provider. The Nigerian winger delivered a precise pass to Krasso, who smashed the ball into the left corner to double Paris FC’s advantage and effectively secure the win.
The result brings Paris FC back to winning ways after a narrow defeat to Strasbourg and a 1-1 draw with Nice in their previous two games.
With this victory, Simon and his teammates move up to eighth in the table with 10 points and now prepare for a tough clash against Lens next Sunday.
