Katsina United Football Club has announced a four-week break for its players and technical crew but categorically states that only those players who receive an official invitation will be allowed to return to the club after this period.
The announcement was made in a press release signed by Club Chairman Alhaji Kabir Dan’lami Rimi and distributed by the Club’s Media Officer, Nasir Gide, Footballrover reports.
The break will run from Monday, June 24th, to Wednesday, July 24th, 2024.
Management’s Wishes and New Policy
The management extended their best wishes to all players, technical staff, and employees, hoping they enjoy a restful and enjoyable break with their families.
However, they emphasised that only invited players would be permitted to rejoin the club as preparations for the new season begin.

Reflecting on the recently concluded season, The Changi Boys wrapped up their campaign with a narrow defeat at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.
The Sky Blue Stars secured a narrow 2-1 victory over their visitors.
During this match, Sodiq Ismail, known for his assists, scored his first goal of the campaign for Remo Stars.
Dayo Ojo followed with another goal before Michael Ibeh Okoro netted a late consolation for Katsina United.
Despite this loss, Katsina United finished the 2023/24 season in 7th place with 55 points.
The team secured 15 wins out of 38 matches, suffered 13 losses, and drew 10 times. They scored 42 goals and conceded 39, resulting in a goal difference of +3.
