It was an entertaining evening from both ends as the youthful Blues defeated Fulham at Craven Cottage.

At the end of the game, they lifted the U18 Premier League Cup, which was their first victory over their opponents this season.

Both teams had numerous opportunities to boost their goal tallies, but the game finished with only three goals.

Leo Castledine gave the Blues youngsters the lead early on after a quick play caught their opponents off guard, and Castledine took advantage by looping past the Fulham goalie.

The home side came back stronger and found back of the net through Luke Harris. Oliver Sanderson had battled a ball in the air with Chelsea goalie – Ted Curd, the referee ruled it fair, and the ball fell to Harris, who leveled the score.

Both teams had attempts to grab the lead, with Fulham’s Sanderson hitting the crossbar and Ed Brand’s team’s Jimi Tauriainen hitting the post.Chelsea beat Fulham to lift Under-18 Premier League Cup
