Doma United Chairman Issues Three-Match Ultimatum Amid Poor Form

In a firm directive to his team, Alhaji Suleiman Umar, Chairman of Doma United Football Club, has issued a three-match ultimatum to the club’s technical staff and players, warning of decisive measures if performance doesn’t see an immediate uptick.

Doma United Chairman Issues Three-Match Ultimatum Amid Poor Form

Following a disheartening 4-0 loss to Bendel Insurance, Chairman Umar called a meeting with the squad, expressing deep concern over their recent downturn in form, Footballrover reports.

He commended the team’s impressive first-half season performance; they were once title contenders but now find themselves slipping into the relegation zone with lacklustre and uninspired play.

Chairman Umar has pinpointed the upcoming clashes against Gombe United, Akwa United, and Plateau United as crucial turning points for the club.

These three matches are very crucial for us, and we have no excuse whatsoever not to pick up at least six points,” Chairman Umar emphasised.

With Doma United currently sitting in 13th place in the NPFL standings, securing points in these matches is non-negotiable for the team’s league survival.

Chairman Umar assured full support, emphasising the immense significance of the upcoming fixtures for both the technical staff and players.

Having only garnered one point from seven games in the second half of the season, Doma United faces a huge battle to salvage their campaign.

The pressure is mounting for the team to produce results and reverse their downward spiral before it’s too late.
