In the 85th minute, Rovers FC broke the deadlock with an own goal, sending the crowd into a frenzy of cheers.
Despite their best efforts, the Oshodi Boys failed to level the score, with Rovers FC maintaining their 1-0 lead until the final whistle.

Madiba FC will now retreat to Lagos, aiming to regroup and prepare for their upcoming clash against Dakkada FC of Uyo on Friday, March 22, 2024, in the highly anticipated Match Day 15 encounter.
