With a goal in the first half and two more in the second period of the game, the brave and dominant Spartans secured a decisive 3-1 victory over their rivals, Footballrover reports.
The road to victory wasn’t easy. The Spartans bested Rivers Comet to secure their spot in the finals, while Dice FC triumphed over All Stars FC in a hard-fought semi-final match.
Unfortunately for Victory Akwaowo, the only female coach in the tournament, who led her team admirably to the final, fell short of claiming the trophy.
The turning point came early in the game when a well-placed cross found a Spartan striker, who deftly slotted the ball past the onrushing goalkeeper.
