Daniel Job shines as Kongsvinger dominate Raufoss
The 20-year-old left winger has now scored in back-to-back games, making it two goals in two matches after opening his account in the 3–0 win over Bryne in their season opener.
Kongsvinger made a blistering start and never looked back, asserting control early to secure a convincing away result.
The visitors struck just two minutes into the game, with Ludvig Langrekken finishing smartly from a neat assist by Rasmus Opdal Christiansen.
Things worsened for Raufoss midway through the first half when Alexander Achinioti Jönsson inadvertently turned the ball into his own net, doubling Kongsvinger’s advantage.
Raufoss showed some resilience before the break, pulling one back through Eirik Dahl Åsvestad, who converted Jørgen Vedal Sjøl’s assist to give the hosts a lifeline
Early goals set the tone for Kongsvinger victory
However, any hopes of a comeback were quickly extinguished after the restart. Job restored Kongsvinger’s two-goal cushion just a minute into the second half, calmly finishing off Frederik Juul Christensen’s setup to seal the win.
The victory marks Kongsvinger’s second consecutive triumph, taking them to six points from two games and keeping them firmly in second place early in the season.
Daniel Job will now aim to maintain his impressive form when Kongsvinger face Moss in their next league outing over the weekend.
