Luis Mafouta, the Quevilly Rouen Metropole, Madagascar, Striker, has again come to the rescue of the Central African Republic, CAR, in the on-going 2023 AFCON qualifiers.

In the round 4 match played at Stade de la Reunification, Louis Mafouta scored a brace to put Central African Republic (CAR) in good contention to lead Group E with 7 points after four rounds of matches.

Black Stars of Ghana also have 7 points with an outstanding fourth-round match in the group.

Louis Mafouta scored in the 40th minute of the first half of the match for CAR’s first goal.

Louis Mafouta struck again in the 82nd minute of the second half to score the second goal for the Central African Republic.

Mafouta had scored his team’s second away goal at Kianja Barea Mahamasina Stadium, Madagascar.

Angola is third in Group E with 4 points after three rounds of matches, while Madagascar is at the rear with 1 point after four matches.
