Brighton head coach Roberto de Zerbi has extended his heartfelt apology to the club’s loyal fans following their recent disappointing home defeat against Arsenal.

Reflecting on the match, De Zerbi acknowledged Brighton’s strong start, noting their resilience in the first half.
However, he admitted that their performance waned after conceding the second goal, ultimately leading to defeat against a tough Premier League adversary.
De Zerbi also emphasised the impact of injuries on the team’s ability to compete effectively, highlighting the absence of key players.
“We are having a tough moment because we are playing without a lot of injured players. It is tough,” De Zerbi claimed, acknowledging the team’s struggle to maintain momentum amidst adversity.
