This exciting change comes after three years in their previous home, and the players are absolutely thrilled with their upgraded living and training environment, thanks to the support of the Prosperity Government, Footballrover reports.

Bayelsa Queens’ new camp: A home fit for champions

The move to the new camp has brought immense joy to the Bayelsa Queens players.

The Bayelsa government made it clear they wanted a top-notch facility for their champions, a promise they have now delivered on.

Dr. Baraladei Daniel Igali, the Honourable Commissioner for Sports Development, inspected the new facility and emphasised that football is more than just a game.

He believes a good environment inspires greatness both on and off the field.

With this more suitable accommodation, the commissioner expects nothing but the best from the Bayelsa Queens as they prepare to represent the state and Nigeria in the upcoming CAF WAFU-B tournament.

He shared a powerful message saying,

Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and, most of all, love of what you’re doing or learning to do.”

Chairman Pastor Robin Angonimi Apreala expressed deep gratitude to Governor Douye Diri, his Deputy Senator Lawrence Ehwrudjakpo, and Dr Daniel Igali for their strong leadership and consistent support for Bayelsa Ladies.

Pastor Apreala praised the state government’s willingness to listen, offer helpful advice, and stand up for the team’s needs, calling them exceptional supervisors.

Thank you for always being approachable and willing to invest your time in our success. Government mentorship has been invaluable to our development,” he stated.

He added that with this kind gesture from the government, the team is motivated to “keep working hard and playing well to win laurels for the state.”
