Despite the club’s ambitions to keep him or to sell him on their own terms, the 33-year-old hasn’t held back in stating his wish to leave the German champions during the current transfer window.

According to the most recent rumors, Lewandowski may decide to skip preseason in an effort to compel a transfer as the next development in the narrative.

Lewandowski has no intention of reporting for duty when the preseason officially begins on July 12.

The president of Barça said that the club is “flattered” that Robert Lewandowski wants to join them and provided an update on the possibility of his impending arrival from Bayern Munich.
