The 20-year-old defender has officially joined Moroccan side FUS Rabat on a lucrative three-year deal, that will see him stay in the capital of Morocco until 2026.

During his time with Akwa United, James Ajako displayed remarkable potential and made a notable impact on the field.
Last season, the young left-back featured in 21 games, exhibiting his defensive prowess with an impressive tally of seven clean sheets.
His contributions extended to the offensive side of the game, notching five crucial assists and scoring three impressive goals.
Ajako’s journey in the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) began with Jigawa Golden Stars in 2020, where he valiantly fought to stave off relegation.
Despite his efforts, the club faced the unfortunate fate of relegation from the NPFL.
However, Akwa United recognized the defender’s potential and talent and swiftly secured him on a free transfer from Jigawa Golden Stars of Dutse in August 2021.
