Heartland FC of Owerri are thrilled to announce the signing of two talented players, Koffi Roland and Emmanuel Iwu, both of whom are making a return back to the team.
The Naze Millionaires made the exciting announcement on their official X page (previously known as Twitter), revealing that both players have completed their paperwork and are now set to make their return.
Koffi Roland, the Ivorian midfielder is back at Heartland FC, a club he previously played for during the 2016/2017 season.
After which, he joined Rivers United for the 2017/2018 NPFL season but spent just one campaign there before moving to Enugu Rangers the following season.
After leaving the Flying Antelopes at the end of the 2018/2019 season, he’s now back at Heartland for the 2023/2024 season.
The newly promoted Nigeria Premier Football League team has also introduced the experienced goalkeeper, Emmanuel Iwu, as their latest signing for the season.
This marks Iwu’s second tenure with Heartland after his earlier stint with the club during the 2016/2017 season.
Emmanuel Iwu has had the privilege of playing for some of the top clubs in the Nigeria topflight division, including Akwa United, Kwara United, and Abia Warriors.
Now, he’s returning to Heartland, aiming to make his mark.
With the excitement surrounding the return of these two former players, fans can’t wait to see how they contribute to the Soccer Scientists’ pursuit of the league title.
