Niger Tornadoes new star man, Abdulraheem Shola has revealed that he is prepared to focus where energy flows as the second second stanza of the Nigerian Premier Football League, NPFL is scheduled to return this weekend.
The attacking midfielder has been working relentlessly to be in good shape and maintain fitness in an effort to support his new team, that have been battling to make a name in the NPFL23 campaign.
Shola and five other new players joined the club to strengthen it as Coach Abubakar Bala Mohammed’s team aims to contend for a spot in the season’s Super Six play-off.
In their matchday 10 encounter against Dakkada on Saturday the Niger Tornadoes players will undoubtedly be aiming to start the second stanza of NPFL with an away victory.
Niger Tornadoes have prevailed in two of their last three NPFL meetings with the Akwa Ibom boys, who have only managed to win one. The visitors have the advantage in this sequence.
The Ikon Allah snatched a 1-0 home victory over the Uyo team in their first leg of the NPFL first stanza in mid-February, and it might be payback time for them in the rematch at the Nest of Champions.

Looking at the abridged NPFL Group B standings, Shola and his teammates are in 5th spot with just twelve points, while Dakkada FC are firmly entrenched in relegation zone with 7 point
